This product is the dried root of Paeonia lactiflora Pall., a plant of the Ranunculaceae family. Dig it in summer and autumn, wash it, remove the head, tail and fine roots, boil it in boiling water and remove the skin or peel it and boil it again, and dry it in the sun.

White peony extract is an extract extracted from the Ranunculaceae plant Paeony, which is refined, concentrated and dried. Its main component is paeoniflorin. Easily soluble in ethanol. It is stable in acidic conditions and unstable in alkaline conditions. Thermal stability is better. The roots contain paeoniflorin, oxypaeoniflorin, albiflorin, benzoylpaeoniflorin, paeoniflorigenone, paeonolide, and Paeonol; also contains benzoic acid, carotenoside and various tannins.
